About Claude Dozorme – The Legacy of “The Wolf”
The story of Claude Dozorme began in 1902 in La Monnerie, near Thiers, France. Blaise Dozorme, a master steelworker, founded a small knife-making workshop in his home. His skill and bold character earned him the nickname “The Wolf”, now the symbol of the brand’s strength and tradition.
In 2022, Didier Perret, an Arts & Métiers engineer and advocate of French craftsmanship, took over the family-owned business from Claudine Dozorme. Sharing her passion for fine cutlery and innovation, he continues the legacy with a loyal team.
Today, Claude Dozorme proudly upholds over a century of French artisanal excellence—crafting high-quality knives that combine heritage with modern precision.
