OUSIA Zivania is a refined expression of Cyprus’ distillation heritage, created exclusively from the indigenous grape varieties Mavro and Xinisteri. Sourced from selected mountainous vineyards cultivated solely for Zivania production. The grapes are late-harvested, carefully transported, and briefly sun-dried to naturally enhance aromatic complexity and finesse.

Before vinification, the grapes undergo a custom smoking protocol, using vine branches pruned from the very same vineyard. This rare technique introduces a subtle, elegant smoked nuance that becomes an integral part of the spirit’s identity. Vinification is meticulously controlled, as it forms the final foundation before distillation.

The spirit is double distilled, drop by drop, in a restored, hand-forged copper pot still, heated by pinewood sourced from neighboring forests under responsible forestry practices. The result is a deeply authentic, ethically crafted Zivania—pure, expressive, and profoundly connected to its origin.
